You can't get enough spinach, and here's why:

  • It's full of phytonutrients, which have inflammatory and anticancer properties
  • Carotenoids are plentiful in spinach, which are antioxidants that contribute to eye health
  • Vitamin K prevents excessive activation of cells that break down bone
  • As if that wasn't enough, there is also Vitamin C, Vitamin A, Vitamin E, Manganese, and Selenium - all chock full of antioxidants!

Pineapple is full of:

  • Bromelain, which reduces excessive inflammation, coagulation of blood, and certain types of tumor growth
  • Vitamin C, defends your immune system against viruses, cancer, plugged arteries, asthma attacks, and pain seen in osteoarthritis/rheumatoid arthritis
  • Manganese and Thiamin, which are both important factors in enzymatic reactions to produce energy

Cucumber not only tastes cool and refreshing, it's also awesome for you and contains:

  • Vitamin C, Betacarotene and Manganese all contain antioxidants, and studies show that cucumbers can increase antioxidant capacity
  • Cucumbers have anti-inflammatory properties, as well as anti-cancer properties
  • Lignans reduce the risk of estrogen-related cancers

Celery is largely composed of water, and contains:

  • Vitamin C
  • Manganese
  • Phytonutrients, which have anti-inflammatory properties and help protect the digestive tract and liver
  • Pectin - lowers cholesterol and has anti-inflammatory benefits

Kale is a superfood. Here's why:

  • It contains a high concentration of antioxidants
  • It's good for your eyes, and reduces the risks of cataracts, cancer, obstructive pulmonary disease, and more
  • It is rich in Omega 3s and Vitamin K, both containing anti-inflammatory properties
  • There are a lot of fiber related nutrients in Kale that lower cholesterol

Parsley has lots of fresh flavor, plus:

  • Volatile oils that inhibit tumor formation
  • Flavanoids and Vitamin A, which contain antioxidants
  • Vitamin B, which acts as a guardian for your blood cells, against increased risk of heart attack/stroke in people with diabetic heart disease and atherosclerosis
  • Folic acid, a critical component of cell division and cancer prevention
  • Vitamin C, full of antioxidants and provides protection against rheumatoid arthritis
